Lol it has changed alot in the 2 minutes since my last comment XD, your new problem is that drowner, the items that fall on the 2 squares where the water flows out will go to the collection canal just fine, however any items that fall on the other side will be stuck.

I personally would go back to the lava grinder, just use signs instead of ladders and it will work perfectly just make sure there is no ice within about 4 squares of the lava.

The roof of ur mob trap needs to be 3 high. (the inside for them to spawn) total mob trap height is 4 blocks high.

look for the mob trap you have to make sure all the caves under your mob trap are torchified so all mobs will go into the only dark place witch iin the day will be your mob trap

try making the roof abit more to the surface…the reason i think that would work is cause the mobs jump soo the roof world make them not jump as high forceing them to go in to the water

Dude i will help u make a mob trap if u help me learning how 2 use freaking pistons and how 2 get slime balls ! got 1 working with about 1000-2000 items per hour — Havnt really counted yet ( but it takes AGES 2 make xD)
